We manufacture equipment; we do not certify technicians. What we do is make sure the crew using our kit knows how it is meant to be inspected, worn and retired — and point you at the accreditation bodies that issue the tickets your regulator will ask for.
Product familiarisation, free with your order
Every order can include a familiarisation session for the crew that will use the kit. It is not a substitute for a certified course — it is the part that certified courses cannot cover, because it is specific to the equipment in your bag.
Donning and adjustment
Correct fit for each harness model, where the attachment points are and which ones are rated for what.
Compatibility
Which devices work together, which rope diameters each device is certified for, and the combinations to avoid.
Pre-use inspection
The specific inspection criteria for each part number, worked through against our checklists.
Retirement rules
What takes an item out of service immediately, and what the service life is for textile against metal.
Certified competency
Legal competency to work at height comes from an accredited scheme, assessed independently. Ask your regulator which is recognised in your jurisdiction before booking anything.
Rope access
IRATA and SPRAT operate the recognised industrial rope access schemes, at three technician levels with logged hours between them.
Wind energy
GWO modules cover working at height, manual handling, first aid and rescue for turbine work.
General work at height
National schemes vary. Requirements are set by your national or provincial occupational health and safety regulator, and the training must come from a provider it recognises.
Competent person inspection
Periodic PPE inspection must be carried out by a trained competent person. That training is separate from the ticket to use the equipment.
Do not buy training from your equipment supplier alone
A manufacturer teaching you to inspect its own products has an obvious interest in the outcome. Use us for the product knowledge, which we genuinely have, and an independent accredited provider for the assessment that carries legal weight. Any supplier who tells you their in-house session is enough is selling you exposure.
